Among several competitors, Sears’ home services honored GE’s Appliance Parts Division with the Sears “Partners in Progress” award for fourth time in a row. The Partners in Progress program recognizes the best performers in Sears’ vendor and supplier community. GE has scored the highest marks in its history for receiving the honor. GE Appliance Part won the nomination for the fourth time on behalf of high parts availability, on-time shipments and the responsiveness of GE sales and IT teams.

As the third largest parts supplier for Sears, GE Appliance Parts supplies repair parts and accessories for all product lines.

Karen Lindquist, GE Parts’ national account manager for Sears said, “We have taken this award where no other supplier has been before, since GE is the first Sears parts supplier to have four consecutive wins under its belt.”

Sears Partner in Progress program selects winners from nominations submitted by Sears' associates who purchase goods and services for the company. Consequently, GE’s Appliance Parts Distribution team won the highest nomination due to their record fill rates and lead time.

Sears Partners in Progress program was established about 27 years ago and felicitates sources for product or service quality, innovation, diversity, and overall market performance. To be eligible for the award, Supplier companies with quality products and services should make significant contributions to the growth of Sears' businesses and also assist them in providing enhanced customer service. Less than one percent of Sears Holdings' suppliers earn the respected award each year.
