Royal Agricultural Society of England Deploys ShoreTel UC System
The Royal Agricultural Society of England (RASE), an organization that supports the development of British agriculture, reportedly has selected and deployed a ShoreTel UC system to improve employee efficiency and enhance customer service.
ShoreTel (News - Alert) officials said that RASE selected the company’s UC product because of its rich feature set, ease of use and return on investment.
Company officials said that thanks to features in UC solutions provider ShoreTel’s intuitive interface, ShoreTel Call Manager, RASE employees would now be able to monitor missed calls, a feature especially valuable in busy periods during exhibitions.
“We’re very pleased with the performance of ShoreTel UC system,” said Stewart Page, assistant director of ICT, RASE, in a statement.
Page said that ShoreTel offers a reliable, scalable and above all cost-efficient solution that has improved the customer service and employee efficiency.
RASE officials said that it also has been very satisfied with the support services from Voyager Networks and ShoreTel.
"There is always a technical person you can speak to. The response time is always within hours, even if the enquiry is very specific,” Page added.
He said that even the employees love the new system. Despite their varying levels of IT literacy, they have all embraced ShoreTel technology due to its ease of use.
Recently ShoreTel announced that the Italian Municipality of Solbiate has selected a ShoreTel UC system, together with system integrator Impianti, to transform communications at its headquarters. The Municipality of Solbiate, located in the Province of Como, reviewed several competitor solutions before migrating its dated analogue phone system over to ShoreTel’s IP-based UC solution. Local government organizations in Italy are required by law to make fiscally prudent technology investments and the Municipality of Solbiate also was looking for ways to streamline operational processes and increase employee productivity.
