New Version of SugarSync for Business Released

SugarSync, makers of the SugarSync digital synchronization, backup and sharing platform, has released a new version specifically designed for small businesses.

Company officials said that SugarSync for Business is ideal for highly-mobile, digitally-connected professionals to keep important data at their fingertips, in the office and on-the-go. The new version comes with central administrative controls, so-called flexible group pricing plans and free phone support.

With the new version, designated administrator can manage multiple user accounts, set-up and delete profiles and allocate storage in an instant. Company officials said that the administrator can also disconnect individual user access while preserving data for company use.

In addition, it features the SugarSync’s computer and smartphone syncing capabilities, folder sharing and collaboration tools plus file backup features.

“With SugarSync, data is always up-to-date and available on any device, significantly increasing productivity. We designed our service to provide professionals with a simple, effective way to have continuous access to all of their work documents from anywhere, any time,” said Laura Yecies, CEO at SugarSync.

SugarSync for Business supports virtually all computer and smartphone operating systems such as Windows, Mac, iPhone, BlackBerry (News - Alert), Windows Mobile and Android. Company officials said that this range of support ensures that users can select to work from virtually any device from any location.

Moreover, SugarSync for Business is easy to install and requires zero server set-up, allowing small businesses to be up and running within minutes, company officials said.

Many small businesses have already deployed SugarSync. According to company officials, it’s especially popular with graphic designers, law firms, real estate offices and other service-oriented companies with data-intensive environments.

SugarSync also allows users to access documents, photos and music across all of their devices, including desktops, laptops and smart phones.
