Free Webinar to Explore Secure Unified Communications on Multitude of Devices
These days, unified communications is taking a front seat in enterprises’ business strategy, helping organizations of all types improve their interaction, drive efficiencies and boost productivity. And the use of the technology is no more apparent than on the range of electronic devices, such as smartphones and WiFi-enabled gadgets.
But officials from one unified communications security outfit said there are certain security steps companies need to take to ensure their organizations can be truly functional with the devices, such as keeping communications private and controlled and complying with regulatory mandates and industry best practices.
Sipera Systems will discuss case studies and best practices in UC deployments as part of an upcoming Webinar the firm is hosting with analysis firm Aberdeen (News - Alert) Group. Registration is now open for the free Webinar, “The Final Frontier: Secure Unified Communications to Any Device in Any Place,” scheduled for 12 p.m. Eastern on Wednesday, Oct. 28.
During the event, attendees can learn how companies are taking advantage of the trend toward extended secure UC.
Presenter Andrew Borg, Aberdeen Group’s senior research analyst, wireless and mobility technology markets, will discuss the latest industry research on secure UC. The analysis will feature data on the costs associated with noncompliance, privacy and data protection mandates and the performance advantages enterprises achieve with integrated security solutions for the UC applications.
Borg will be joined by Satyam Tyagi, director, technology and marketing, Sipera Systems, and Adam Boone (News - Alert), vice president of marketing, Sipera Systems, who will talk about the latest improvements to common security practices to secure unified communications and increasingly popular devices, such as smart phones. The Webinar will also touch on a new innovation in smart phone security, a solution to extend VoIP and UC securely to smart phones - “taming” smart phones for secure enterprise unified communications.
A live audience Q&A session will follow the discussion. Register now.
