Whaleback Systems Adds Polycom Phones to CrystalBlue Voice Service
Whaleback Systems, has reportedly announced the addition of three new business-class phones to its suite of executive handsets for its managed CrystalBlue Voice Service. The new phones include the Polycom SoundPoint IP 670, Polycom (News - Alert) SoundPoint IP 550 and Polycom SoundPoint IP 450 desktop phones.
As a result of these additions, the company’s entire phone portfolio is Polycom HD Voice compatible. As these new phones are integrated into Whaleback’s unique managed service network architecture, they can offer what is positioned as innovative service quality management technology, as well as full support of the wideband VoIP codecs.
"Since day one, we engineered CrystalBlue Voice Service to be a business communications service with the highest reliability and quality of service - from the phones on the desk to our underlying network infrastructure," said David Zwicker, Whaleback Systems (News - Alert) vice president of marketing, in a statement.
Whaleback can now deliver an end-to-end business phone service with high-quality clarity and reliability as a result of its managed service architecture and premise-based IP PBX (News - Alert). This network is remotely controlled and monitored around-the-clock by its network operations center in combination with Polycom HD Voice phones.
“We developed an advanced Voice Quality Management System with full support for G.722 enabling us to be one of the first business VoIP providers to offer Polycom HD Voice phones when they were first introduced several years ago,” Zwicker said. “The addition of the new phones represents the next step as we can now offer all of our customers the opportunity to experience HD VoIP."
By providing real-time QoS monitoring and analysis for every phone, the Whaleback VQMS can ensure reliability. The company’s full support of G.722 within its network and its phones provides dramatically enhanced call quality.
