IPcelerate Unveils NIPA Framework for Advanced UC Products and Services
IPcelerate, Inc. has announced the introduction of NIPA 2.0 framework for advanced unified communications products and services across multiple vendor platforms. The framework has been enhanced such that its embedded capabilities and applications become suitable for multiple vendors, multiple information sources and multiple devices like desktop and mobile devices.
In a release, Alok Jain, chief technology officer for IPcelerate (News - Alert) said “With this release, we continue to define unified communications, so that it consistently delivers what the name implies, unifying companies and enhancing the way their employees communicate and socialize, and how they interact with one another and with technology in ways that drive business results.”
Jain added, “These changes also accelerate the timeline for our company and our development partners to create and bring to market new applications and products that insert unified communications into the fabric of business operations – the fundamental goal of NIPA 2.0.”
NIPA 2.0 includes a Web Services module which extends the embedded applications and capabilities of the NIPA framework to social networking and business communications applications and databases. It also includes a comprehensive alert, notification, collaboration and messaging engine.
The NIPA 2.0 Thin Client Framework which is resident in mobile devices extends the embedded applications and capabilities of the NIPA framework to the devices, said company sources.
IPfusion 2.0 a drag and drop Integrated Development Environment or IDE is also present in the framework and it provides easy tools and methodology for IPcelerate and its partners to develop new products and applications for unified communications, social networking, mobile devices and business process integration.
Jain further explained that NIPA 2.0 products and services will be helping customers improve collaboration, messaging, alerting, notification and socialization along with the unified communications implementations. Customers will be able to protect and also extend the life of existing technology investments, he noted.
“In the economic conditions that exist today, unified communications is no longer about ‘productivity’, it is about measurable business results,” remarked Kevin Brown, CEO and President of IPcelerate.
He pointed out that NIPA 2.0 can actually increase safety in schools, enhance the experience of patients in hospitals, can help businesses control their expenses and help them pay employees faster besides accelerating other initiatives.
