How HD VoIP Can Drive Service Provider Success
It’s time to say goodbye to the 50-year-old technology of switched telephone networks and say hello to high-definition (HD) voice. As more vendors add support for wideband codecs, companies have been privy to the experience of VoIP power through HD voice and clearer, higher quality audio.
At TMC’s (News - Alert) ITEXPO, a session titled “Pushing the Envelope with HD Voice: A State-of-the-Industry Panel Discussion” will discuss the benefits of HD voice services and how this higher quality of sound can be used to attract, retain and drive service providers’ success in a highly competitive marketplace, where it is no longer sufficient to offer “me too” services.
The session will be held on Wednesday, Sept. 2 at 10:30 a.m. and will push the envelope in terms of expanding and perfecting HD voice.
IVR Technologies, Inc.’s vice president of business development Barry Sher (News - Alert) will be speaking during the session, informing attendees about technical background, why end customers have expressed such strong interest in the capability, and how HD VoIP will likely be deployed.
In an interview with TMC CEO and Conference Chair Rich Tehrani (News - Alert), Sher said, “By being one of the first enhanced service platforms to support HD Voice, we are helping customers differentiate themselves from their competition through a richer and fuller voice experience.”
“Companies who are interested in learning about how to diversify and position themselves with a leg up on the competition should definitely attend this session,” said Sher.
With the company’s recent 2009 Los Angeles Award in the Systems Software Development Services category by the U.S. Commerce Association, it’s no doubt Sher will have a vast knowledge to delegate to sessions attendees.
IVR is a software development company providing integrated application, media and billing server to next generation networks.
Sher will also be joined by top executives from AudioCodes, Global IP Solutions (News - Alert), Polycom, HD Connect Project and Michael Stanford (News - Alert) LLC.
