Polycom Inc. has named Tierney Brothers Inc., an audiovisual systems design and integration firm, as its “Partner of the Year” for the Midwest region.

This honor was given during Polycom’s (News - Alert) InfoComm 2009 expo last week. The event recognizes partners for outstanding sales performance and excellence in meeting the needs of customers through solutions, service and support.

“We’re very honored and excited,” said Jim Tierney, vice president and chief financial officer of Tierney Brothers, in a statement. “Integrator of the Year” was given to AVI-SPL, an audio and video communications provider. Polycom recognized AVI-SPL (News - Alert) for its outstanding customer service.
