HaiVision Brings Encoding Technology to Worship Magazine Pavilion
HaiVision Network Video has said that it’s offering advanced encoding technology and expertise to the Technologies for Worship Magazine (TFWM) pavilion.
Based in Montreal and Chicago, HaiVision (News - Alert) is a private company and is a vendor of high-performance H.264 encoders, codec, and video-over-IP systems. Open to tech crews, volunteers, pastors, and worship leaders, TFWM pavilion is the center for technical worship education at NAB. Visitors can learn all about audio and video mixing, Web streaming, stage and studio lighting, and take in an array of leadership and team-building workshops.
HaiVision says it will teach the TFWM staff about the MAKO HD codec to increase performance and simulate the video performance attainable at remote facilities. And for this the company’s integration experts are going to conduct a workshop, titled “Performance Network Video Uniting Remote Churches.”
TFWM Pavilion expects to learn from the product demonstration and workshops that are going to be conducted by HaiVision on the opportunities offered by high-quality, low-latency video to effortlessly connect distant facilities. Visitors to these workshops and live demonstrations will get first hand experience on establishing persuasive communications between sites, about techniques to manage the production and also the means to use widely used h264 technology to cater the needs of on-campus and Internet video distribution.
“Today’s expanding churches are discovering that always-on network video technology offers the most engaging means of reaching out to members at remote campuses,” said Peter Maag, senior vice president at HaiVision. “HaiVision leads the TelePresence market because our technology brings immediacy and intimacy to communications.”
According to company officials, performance-oriented appliances such as HaiVision’s MAKO-HD allow integrators to reliably deliver the highest quality video between conference and lecture halls, and event remote facilities. The MAKO-HD can also support multiple high definition streams making it suitable for places that would want three or more video sources.
The workshop will be offered twice a day at 11:30 a.m. and 1:45 p.m. April 20 to 22 and at 11:30 a.m. April 23 at Technologies for Worship Magazine’s pavilion in the center hall, booth C12343. The workshop will feature Jayson Fuhlbruck of Eastgate Productions, a key integration partner of HaiVision for the house of worship market. Fuhlbruck not only offers a complete understanding of the HaiVision product line and related implementation strategies, but also offers significant expertise in event production, system design, and integration.
