Vidtel and WBS Connect to Offer Video Calling Service
Video communications service provider Vidtel has reportedly partnered with Colorado-based WBS Connect to offer a robust video calling service for SMBs. The service is geared towards enhancing worker productivity and cutting down travel expenses.
Scott Charter, managing partner of WBS Connect (News - Alert) explained the significance of the new offering: "For too long small and medium-sized business have been lost in the shuffle between traditional phone service, high-end video conferencing services and low-quality PC-based video chat options."
"By working with Vidtel (News - Alert) we are closing the gap by expanding access to robust video calling services that are the truly the future of business communications. Video phones will replace traditional phones on everyone's desk and will help to enhance productivity and improve communication as only 'face-to-face' conversations that capture body language and facial expressions can."
The new video calling service allows enterprise customers to make uninterrupted video calls to remote offices, partners and customers by linking any video-enabled device on any network worldwide.
With the offering, users can also use their VoIP phone to make mobile, international, local and long distance voice calls and the new service is further strengthened by WBS Connect's worldwide Internet operations and the team's networking expertise and full-service support options.

The video calling service is the latest addition to WBS Connect’s comprehensive Business Video Communications solutions which include high-definition video conferencing and Web collaboration solutions delivered over the company’s technology network spreading across North America, Europe and Asia.
Recently, TMCnet reported that WBS Connect entered into a strategic partnership with Digital Video Enterprises to offer Virtual In Person, high definition video conferencing and telepresence service over its carrier-class IP network.
