CircleUp's Messaging Platform Streamlines Group Communications

CircleUp, Inc. reportedly has announced the launch of its SmartMessage Platform for integration with partners that serve groups in the participation sports, nonprofit, education, faith-based, club and association markets.

The new SmartMessage Platform is a private label group communications and commerce foundation for membership software providers and Web sites. According to CircleUp, the solution facilitates communication and the ability to monetize message streams.

The solution operates across major social, media, commerce and communications networks with a single address directory. By aggregating group messages in a single sharable result, SmartMessage Platform makes the message stream always actionable, efficient and up to date.

CircleUp officials explain that their new SmartMessage Platform will deliver a number of benefits for Web sites such as increasing engagement, retaining volunteers and supporters and will also encourage repeat visits to customer sites. Thanks to SmartMessage, partners can focus their development resources on their core business instead on communications infrastructure across multiple networks or devices.

Here’s how the company diagrams the platform:

eteamz, a division of The Active Network and a premium resource in team sports, is deploying the SmartMessage Platform across all eteamz sites.

Christopher Hall, general manager of eteamz, said that the SmartMessage Platform integration with eteamz gives all their teams and groups a major revolution in team communications.

Hall expects this integration will save their teams lots of time and improve team effectiveness due to smarter messaging delivered across a wide range of communications networks at the choice of their users.

John Payne, CEO of CircleUp, said that the platform is easy to integrate and provides tremendous utility for their users.

“The premium services bundled with the SmartMessage service will create significant revenue for us and for our partners at a time when they are actively looking for ways to supplement basic advertising revenues,” he added.

The company is offering the core SmartMessage Platform as a free hosted service for their partners and their users. The Platform is available now with API’s for single sign on, contact database integration and site integration.

In addition, CircleUp is also offering a suite of premium services for end users with the platform, which produce convenience fee, affiliate commission and wireless revenues which are shared with partners based upon volumes of usage.
