AltiGen Announces UC in Project InVision International

AltiGen (News - Alert) Communications has announced that Project InVision International is achieving increased productivity through enhanced mobility and multisite capabilities available with AltiGen unified communications phone systems.

AltiGen Communications, Inc. is a manufacturer of VoIP business phone systems and call centers solutions and the company designs, manufactures and markets advanced, IP-PBX (News - Alert) telephone systems and IP call centers that leverage both the Internet and the public telephone network.

Project InVision International (PII) is a provider of business performance improvement solutions to professional services organizations. It serves clients like PricewaterhouseCoopers, AT&T, EDS, and TELUS. Unified Communications (News - Alert) (UC) is the convergence of the complete, yet diverse set of business communication capabilities.

The PII software has the ability to allow easy governance and compliance in organizations by computerizing core business processes.

The company states that Project InVision software has been implemented at more than 500 service and project intensive businesses with 30,000 seats deployed to manage tens of thousands of engagements.

With AltiGen’s UC solution, PII got lowered long-distance toll charges. Multiple locations of the company were connected by VoIP and AltiGen was able to provide a single unified look. AltiGen’s VoIP enabled, multi-site communications platform with self-administration features significantly reduces PII’s monthly phone administrative fees.

"Although the AltiGen phone system provides many advanced features, it is very simple to manage," said Matthew Meblin, CEO and co-founder of Project InVision International. "It’s very flexible. With a few clicks you can add an extension or change a feature. The system’s mobility features have enabled us to improve customer satisfaction by seamlessly routing customer calls to an employee’s office extension, cell or home phone when they are away from the office."

Businesses were looking to improve productivity with enhanced business communications, employee productivity and customer service. AltiGen says that it has the means to effectively deploy, manage and integrate all of these capabilities into a Unified Communications platform.

"AltiGen’s unified communications solution is an advantage to companies with many remote employees where we can help businesses realize productivity and cost efficiencies," said Mike Plumer, AltiGen’s vice president of sales. "Distributed, multisite organizations are a perfect example of customers that can truly benefit from our technological expertise and unique product offering. We are pleased Project InVision chose AltiGen’s unified communications solutions to help them grow their business."
