Atrion Networking Corporation Acquires Shazamm
Atrion (News - Alert) Networking Corporation has acquired Shazamm, an interactive multimedia company. The acquisition allows Atrion to offer customized technical and aesthetic client business solutions.
Shazamm is an interactive firm specializing in software development and Web and multimedia design. Shazamm specializes in detailed Web, print and multi-media communications and marketing solutions, with Web application designs and technologies being its signature trademark.
Atrion with the acquisition of Shazamm would now be able to offer its clients not only behind-the-scenes services such as Unified Communications (News - Alert), Network Security and Managed Services, but also outward-facing services, such as functional and attentive website and communications capabilities.
The completion of the acquisition would also provide Atrion’s currently 490 clients with multimedia opportunities including Z-One – which empowers users to remotely manage and monitor content on kiosks and digital signs, and Z-Media – a Web-based asset management platform.
“Atrion is ecstatic to be able to provide such diversity and comprehensive business solutions to its clients,” said Tim Hebert, president and CEO of Atrion, in a statement. “With Shazamm as our artistic arm, Atrion’s clients will be able to innovate their company literally from the inside out. And all from one trusted and certified industry partner.”
Atrion specializes in the fusion of business and technology. The company’s teams of specialists are trained to look at the entire business and design technology solutions, specifically suited to that business’s needs.
The company accelerates business productivity and growth through a dedicated focus on the clients and through customized technology solutions such as consulting and management services, project management, manufacturer-certified training, carrier services, telephony, equipment procurement and local and wide-area network implementation.
“There’s such an exciting synergy between Shazamm and Atrion,” says Shazamm CEO Dana Paul. “The opportunity to be part of a larger company, expand and develop our service offerings – and having the ability to offer Atrion’s services to our clients – is incredible. Tim is an amazing leader and I’m looking forward to growing the company with him. Everyone at Shazamm is excited about the next chapter of our history.”
