Brekeke Attains VoIP Field Verified Program Status from Polycom

SIP software developer, Brekeke Software has received VoIP Field Verified Program status from Polycom (News - Alert), Inc., a provider of telepresence, video and voice communication solutions.

The new status will allow carriers and service providers using the Brekeke (News - Alert) hosted telephony platform to take advantage of Polycom voice products currently available in the market.

"Polycom is committed to bringing best-in-class, open standards-based products to market so our customers can implement the communications platform of their choice," said Jim Kruger (News - Alert), vice president of marketing for Polycom Voice Communications Solutions.

"We're delighted to welcome Brekeke to our list of interoperability partners."

Geoff Newman from Buzz Systems, a Brekeke channel partner in England said the combination of Brekeke and Polycom is a winning match as the feature sets of both companies are extensive and work well and seamlessly together.

“I have installed many phone systems, both traditional and SIP, and it was a pleasant change to use two different suppliers' products together and have them deploy, rollout and implement without any issues. Every customer I have implemented this package combination in has been more than pleased and impressed with the solution," said Newman.

Brekeke Software, founded in 2002 and based in San Mateo, California, is a growing company in the IP-PBX (News - Alert) and SIP server software market. The company’s comprehensive SIP-based family of products enables organizations to effortlessly migrate or integrate IP communication systems into their existing communications infrastructure.
