CoreDial Offers VoiceAxis Support to Aastra SIP Phones

CoreDial, a provider of hosted PBX (News - Alert) and VoIP solutions, reportedly announced that it would start providing VoiceAxis 3.0 support to Aastra’s full line of SIP phones.

VoiceAxis 3.0 is CoreDial’s recently launched multi-tenant IP phone system and Voice over Internet Protocol management software, which enables service providers and interconnects to sell, provision, manage and invoice hosted PBX, VoIP, SIP trunking and related services - for business and residential customers.

“For Enterprises, VoiceAxis offers all the features and capabilities of competitive premise based IP PBX and VoIP solutions, but with virtually limitless scalability, much more control, and at a fraction of the price,” Alan Rihm, CEO at CoreDial, said, in a statement,

Currently, VoiceAxis 3.0 is already incorporated with pre-built profiles for the Aastra (News - Alert) 675xi series SIP phones. However, the company has plans to support Aastra’s other SIP devices as well as XML toolkit.

"VoiceAxis Service Providers and Enterprise users benefit from our integration with the feature rich, cost effective Aastra SIP phones," Rihm said. "Aastra has made a significant commitment to the SIP phone market, and we're seeing strong demand in the market for Aastra products due to their robust feature set, and extensibility through an XML toolkit.”

Rihm further said that any customer utilizing VoiceAxis software will have immediate access to sell, deliver as well as manage hosted PBX, VoIP and SIP trunking services with Aastra 675xi SIP phones, on the end-users desk.

In the coming months, VoiceAxis will add support for additional Aastra devices, as well as an API and the Aastra XML toolkit, Rihm said.

According to John Drolet, vice president of sales, indirect channels and carriers, Aastra USA, CoreDial's newest multi-tenant PBX and VoIP management software, VoiceAxis 3.0, is a very good option for any Aastra reseller who is looking for a powerful, flexible, and cost effective hosted PBX and VoIP service delivery and billing platform.

"Our two companies offer similar value propositions to our channel partners and end-user customers,” Drolet said in a statement. “We are both focused on delivering high quality, feature rich and cost effective products and services. The VoiceAxis software will help our channel partners to cost effectively deliver high value products and services, bundled with our Aastra SIP phones."

Aastra USA is entirely dedicated to enterprise communications and offers IP telephony and Unified Communications (News - Alert) solutions, which are individually tailored to satisfy the requirements of its customers.

Furthermore, CoreDial's VoiceAxis 3.0 management software also supports Asterisk Business Edition and Asterisk Community Edition. Asterisk is Open Source telephony software developed by Digium (News - Alert) Inc.

Officials with CoreDial said that any medium to large enterprises could cost effectively implement a feature rich, scalable Asterisk (News - Alert) PBX and VoIP solution by leveraging company’s VoiceAxis management software.

Moreover, CoreDial is a valued channel partner of Digium and has already made considerable commitment to the Asterisk community by allowing service providers and enterprises to utilize the VoiceAxis management software to offer shared and dedicated Asterisk hosting solutions, officials said.
