Ascent Telecom Launches SIP Enabled Softphone EnduraTalk
Internet telephony solutions and service provider, Ascent Telecom, announced the launch of its new EnduraTalk version 1.0. It’s said to be a privately-labeled SIP Softphone that features excellent voice quality.
EnduraTalk, a PC-based softphone, basically utilizes SIP protocol to make IP calls. It also features an easy-to-use GUI (Graphical User Interface).
Ascent Telecom is a managed hosted VoIP and billing service provider that manages many concurrent calls of direct retail VoIP traffic through its high-end VoIP network. Its wide-range of VoIP offerings extends and covers a wide area, in both the product and service segment that is provided through a dedicated network of resellers, service providers and agents.
Ascent’s offerings are said to be sold through various modes such as, dedicated hosting of VoIP softswitch and billing, shared hosting of VoIP softswitch and billing, VoIP private labeled reseller program and selling softswitch and billing solutions to service providers as well as independent resellers, the company said.
EnduraTalk Softphone version 1.0 was specifically designed and developed with high voice quality that also features echo cancellation, jitter/buffer, packets management, noise suppression, thereby facilitating the caller to make hassle free, high-quality calls.
EnduraTalk also features GIPS (Global IP sound), an advanced voice engine. This GIPS is integrated and tested methodically in varied network conditions and on various Windows OS versions that is said to have returned very stable results.
The integration of GIPS advanced VoIP engine that manages the media (RTP) part makes EnduraTalk a better-quality and a stable softphone. The GIPS manages RTP with various voice parameters.
Ascent Telecom's SIP-based Softphone, EnduraTalk that provides high-quality voice to the "VoIP service provider" segment is also comprised of "Hosted/Managed Platform Providers," "ITSPs," "Broadband Operators," and "PC-to-Phone Service providers."
EnduraTalk comes with a comprehensive set of instructions and a very easy-to-use experience to customers. Ascent Telecom's EnduraTalk also consists of other advanced capabilities that include Private Labeling, Customization and VPN Enabled.
Ascent Telecom's Softphone also features: secured port, remembers login ID, Audio tuner wizard, DTMF support, incoming call ignore option, history of last 10 dialed numbers, real ring back tone, phone book, speaker and microphone volume controller, graphic display of voice transmission, mute button and configurable ring as well.
