Amcom Software Names Black Box as an Authorized Reseller

By Divya Narain, TMCnet Contributor

Amcom Software, a Minneapolis, Minn.- based provider of mission-critical communications solutions,  has selected Black Box (News - Alert) Network Services as an authorized reseller of its full suite of solutions. The solutions go across many industries, such as healthcare, higher education, government, and hospitality.

Black Box has had a long-standing association with Amcom and together the two companies have helped joint customers implement mission-critical communications that improve safety and efficiency. Black Box is also a platinum member of Amcom’s Strategic Alliance Program. As a reseller, Black Box is in a position to provide its customers the full range of solutions from Amcom to help meet industry-specific communication challenges.

Black Box became an obvious choice for Amcom owing to its global footprint, diverse capabilities, and a deep commitment to providing the best technical solutions and support in the industry. In 2009, Amcom honored Black Box with the Amcom Strategic Sale Award of the Year for its achievements in the military arena.

“This comprehensive partnership with Amcom will help our customers leverage their investment in Black Box services and solutions by broadening our unified communications offering,” said Michael Laughlin, vice president, Black Box Network Services. “We look forward to working even more closely as our opportunities increase.”

“This relationship builds on the years of success Amcom and Black Box have had together,” said Chris Heim, CEO, Amcom Software. “The reseller agreement demonstrates that we have taken a step further in the evolution of that association. Amcom stands behind Black Box’s capabilities 100 percent.”

Amcom Software’s unified communications technologies include solutions for contact centers, emergency management, mobile event notification, and messaging.

In a recent article, TMCnet reported that St.John’s Hospital in Springfield, Illinois has chosen Amcom’s smartphone messaging system, Amcom Mobile Connect.
