Omnify Software Earns Spot on 2008 Start-It 125

Omnify Software, a provider of product lifecycle management (PLM)
software for electronic, medical, mechanical, and defense
manufacturers, announced that it has been named to the Start-It 125 for
the second consecutive year.

The Start-It 125 is an annual listing of the most influential
manufacturing technology providers as determined by the editors and
editorial advisors of Start-It magazine.

According to Peggy Smedley, editorial director of Start-It, changing
forces in the marketplace have impacted the companies which are
providing the best manufacturing technologies. Some have been acquired,
some have changed their identities and some have even disappeared.

"Each year we see more change in the manufacturing industry and the
available technology. This means the editors and editorial advisors of
Start-It must be more critical in examining the top 125 technology
providers," Smedley said. "The Start-It 125 gives our readers insight
into what the best solutions are, who can provide them, and how these
solutions help manufacturers improve their business practices."
