A new appointment at elastomer engineering specialists James Walker
Keaflex sees Andrew Tuffield joining as managing director. Previously
he was sales and marketing director at James Walker Tiflex, where he
was responsible for increasing the company's penetration of polymer
based products in the industrial and flooring markets.
Tuffield is a fully qualified engineer, with general management
experience in a range of industries prior to joining the James Walker
Group, including the automotive, mineral extraction, mass
transportation, defence and aerospace sectors.
"Keaflex has an impressive breadth of expertise in complex 3D elastomer
engineering," said Tuffield, "and I am looking forward to helping more
customers to take advantage of it."
James Walker Keaflex's activities in the design and production of
elastomer mouldings range from product design and process engineering
through to prototype and full production. They are based on the
company's extensive knowledge of rubber and plastics moulding and
machining techniques, including rubber to metal bonding.
